Catalyst 3750 & 3560 Series

Catalyst 3750-X/3560-X distribution and aggregation switches — PSU replacements, fan module swaps, uplink module (SFP/GBIC) replacements available for these EOSL platforms.

Catalyst 3850 & 3650

Catalyst 3850/3650 — some configurations have reached or are approaching Cisco EoL. Ogma provides hardware AMC as an alternative to full campus refresh to Catalyst 9000.

ISR 2900 & 3900 Routers

ISR G2 (2911/2921/2951/3925/3945) — branch routers where Cisco SMARTnet has ended. Ogma provides hardware break-fix for chassis, power modules, NIM/SM slot modules, and fan assemblies.

Cisco ASA 5500/5500-X

ASA 5505/5510/5520/5540/5550 and 5500-X series — hardware AMC for chassis and PSU. Note: ASA software patches and ASDM updates from Cisco ceased at EOSL; hardware-only coverage applies.

Nexus 5000 & Legacy Nexus

Frequently Asked Questions

The main risks are: (1) no hardware replacement coverage if a switch fails, (2) no IOS software updates or security patches from Cisco, and (3) potential compliance gaps. Ogma addresses risk #1 with hardware break-fix coverage and spare parts. For risks #2 and #3, we advise keeping these switches on a stable IOS version, segmenting them appropriately, and planning a migration timeline to Catalyst 9000. We provide the documentation to support compliance audits.

Yes — Cisco's Last Day of Support (LDoS) date marks when Cisco stops providing maintenance contracts. After that date, Ogma's third-party hardware AMC takes over. We maintain spare parts inventories for these platforms, and our CCNP/CCIE engineers are experienced with all Cisco EOSL platforms.

No — Cisco software (IOS, IOS-XE) updates are tied to Cisco's own licensing and are not available through third-party maintenance providers. For EOSL hardware, we advise customers to freeze at the last stable IOS version that Cisco validated for their platform. This is documented as part of the EOSL maintenance agreement. Ogma does not and cannot provide Cisco software updates.

ASA 5500-series hardware is EOSL and ASA software patches from Cisco have also ended. Ogma can provide hardware break-fix for chassis and power components. However, for security appliances, we strongly recommend a migration roadmap to Cisco Firepower or Fortinet FortiGate — running an EOSL firewall without security patches is a significant security risk. Ogma can help with both the interim hardware support and the migration to a patched platform.
