Fortinet FortiGate TradeUp Program Q1 2026 — Complete Upgrade Guide with EOL Dates & Replacement Matrix
Running a FortiGate that has reached or passed its end-of-life? Fortinet's TradeUp Program lets you transfer your existing FortiCare and FortiGuard subscriptions from your old hardware to a new replacement model — so you don't lose the subscription time you've already paid for. This guide covers the Q1 2026 TradeUp matrix effective February 2, 2026, with every eligible model, EOL date, and replacement path. Many popular models (60E, 100E, 200E, 300E, 400E, 500E) have already passed their End-of-Order dates — if you're still running them, now is the time to act.
KEY RULE
Transfer of services is possible only to HW device (not to HW Bundle). You transfer the remaining subscription period from the old appliance to the new one. The old appliance loses its subscriptions upon transfer.
How the TradeUp Program Works
- Check eligibility — Your current FortiGate (or FortiAP, FortiSwitch, FortiWeb, etc.) must have reached or be approaching its End-of-Order (EOO) date. See the tables below for your specific model.
- Buy the replacement hardware — Purchase the recommended replacement model (hardware only, not a bundle). Ogma can provide the best pricing as an authorised Fortinet partner.
- Transfer subscriptions — Fortinet transfers the remaining FortiCare and FortiGuard subscription time from your old appliance to the new one. No subscription days are lost.
- Deploy — Ogma handles the configuration migration, policy transfer, and cutover from old to new hardware with zero downtime.
FortiGate NGFW — TradeUp Matrix
EOO = End of Order (last date to purchase). EOS = End of Support (last date Fortinet provides support). As of March 2026, all E-series models have passed EOO. Dates in red indicate EOS approaching within the next 12 months.

Already Past EOO — Act Now Before Support Ends
These models have already passed their End-of-Order date in 2025. You can no longer purchase them new, but you can still buy the replacement hardware and transfer your existing subscriptions under the TradeUp program. Support (EOS) continues until 2030, but the longer you wait, the more risk you carry on unsupported firmware:
